On Humble Knee
Here I am on humble knee,
Knowing that you'll hear my plea.
Please forgive my every sin,
Let me learn from where I've been.
Give me patience each new day,
As I let you lead my way.
For if I hurry I may not see,
What you really planned for me.
Teach me Lord to smell each rose,
And feel the wind when it blows.
Let me hear the church bells ring,
Hear the Angels when they sing.
Let me watch the setting sun,
When my day is almost done.
With the peace inside my heart,
I did my best to do my part.
So here I am on humble knee,
Thank you Lord for loving me!
Grace
It’s
by God’s grace alone,
I’m
able to achieve.
He’s
taught me what I’ve known,
Given
me faith to believe.
And whenever
I begin to stumble,
He lends
His helping hand.
His grace
makes me humble,
It helps
me understand.
That
there’s hope for tomorrow,
And goals
I can attain.
There’s
comfort for every pain.
I’ll
never walk in darkness,
He always
leads my way.
His grace
is there to bless,
My each
and every day.
God Made This World
God made this world for you and me,
He gave his son to set us free.
The greatest sacrifice he could make,
So all the blessing we could take.
I’ll try to follow what he has planned,
I’ll try to listen and understand.
But by God’s Grace alone,
I’ll try to stand on my own.
Yet looking to him for wisdom,
For all the things to come.
My heart knows right from wrong,
Against Satan I’ll stand strong.
I know I’m just a mortal soul,
Trying to give him complete control.
I know at times, I will fail the task,
In prayer his forgiveness I will ask.
Because of Grace forgiveness I’ll receive,
My faith is strong and I believe.
He’ll walk with me everyday,
Until I reach my home far away.
I
Wonder
I
often sit and wonder,
What
the Angels said that day.
When they came
together,
Just
to guide His way.
Did
the Angels hold Him,
And caress Him
with their love,
Did
they sing a hymn.
About heaven
up above.
Was He really
ready,
Or
did He hesitate.
Was He really
happy,
Walking
through heaven’s gate.
I
often wish I knew,
How
He must have felt.
Everything
that He went through,
And
the hand that He was dealt.
He
must have felt God’s grace,
And
knew His time was near.
When
He saw the Angels face,
God’s
plan was finally clear.
Heavenly Grace
If every heart would open,
And release the love inside.
The special gift we’re
given
Could never be denied.
And if we reached out our
hand,
Towards someone in despair.
The world may begin to
understand,
That hope is born because
we care.
Anger that’s fed
with kindness,
Is born again with love.
Dries the tears with tenderness,
Sent from up above.
It destroys the violence,
Seen through someone’s
eyes.
Like the child of lost
innocence,
That was forced to recognize.
If we save even one little
heart,
And fill it with love’s
embrace.
We’ll know we’ve
done our part,
To share God’s Heavenly
Grace!
A Hand To Hold
For all the things
I ask today,
I find riches greater
than gold.
Like laughter along
my way,
Or warmth when I'm
cold.
I find strength when
I'm weak,
And courage to travel
on.
I'm granted the needs
I seek,
With each new morning
dawn.
What a blessing within
a prayer,
When a humble heart
requests,
And always hears the
answer.
The Lord sends his
best.
He's always there to
listen
To what your troubles
are.
And if you do not hasten,
The answers never far.
So please don't ever
give me,
Riches made with gold.
Only sight that I might
see,
God's hand reached
out to hold.
